Meet My Big Sister Feona from Portland
I guess you could say that Feona, a Shepherd/Rottweiler mix, was willie’s first real four-footed friend. Feona lived on a farm outside of Portland, Oregon with her twin sister for the first four months of her life. She was then surrendered to a shelter when her people could no longer afford to feed her. Luckily for willie in 2007 she was adopted and brought down to New Orleans where we met.
Though much larger than willie, Feona loves him like a brother. If you ask her she’ll tell you that she found willie all alone at the park one night and he promptly followed her home…which is true. From that moment on Feona has shared everything with willie and he’s grateful for it every day. She now lives in the lap of luxury on a ranch outside of Mobile, Alabama and we try to drop by any time we’re in the area for a visit.
